A00127C Loch Caolisport

Loch Caolisport is a sea loch projecting southeast into the "Sound of Jura" (top) on the west coast of Scotland. Rocky outcrops and large sandy beaches form the coastline of Loch Caolisport which is also a site of Special Scientific Interest. Fragments of the past including traces of early settlements a Christian chapel and fortifications are evident over much of the area.
