A00246CX2 From Wheat Stack to St Abbs Head

Location, three miles north west from St Abbs Head on the east coast of Scotland. St Abbs Head is the peninsula in the middle left of the picture. Steep sloping sea cliffs follow much of the coastline from below where the picture was taken until St Abbs were the rock formations take a more ragged appearance. Rocky outcrops lie almost the entire length of this coastline with Iron Age fortifications populating many of the cliff and local hill tops in the area.
