A00350BX2 Lismore Island from Eilean Musdile Lighthouse

The lighthouse at the bottom of the picture stands at the entrance to Loch Linnhe on Eilean Musdile island whiles't Lismore island stretches up from the center of the picture to the top. Eilean Musdile is an islet south of Lismore and both belong to the "Inner Hebrides" islands. The lighthouse was built in 1833 to guide ships navigating in the area. Lismore in Gaelic is thought to mean "Garden" illustrated by the islands lush green landscape in the picture. Viewed looking north towards the "Great Glen" in the top left of the picture.
