A00568B Little Cumbrae Island

Located on the Firth of Clyde Little Cumbrae island in Gaelic takes the meaning of "place of the Cymric people". It is fairly barn with rocky terrain and a few rocky islets yet the island was apparently used as a Royal hunting retreat for deer in the 13th century. It is now privately owned. Viewed looking southwest to the Isle of Arran at the top of the picture.
