A00579D Loch Striven

Loch Striven is a sea loch connecting to the Firth of Clyde on the west coast of Scotland. In the northern reaches of the loch (top right) secret WWII midget submarine training was performed. The area has similar features to Norwegian fjords which was ideal for top secret operations to sink the German battleship Tirpitz. Viewed looking northwest.
