Location, Glenancross coastline is 4 miles south of Mallaig seaport on the west coast of Scotland. The hamlet of Glenancross has beautiful sandy beaches (bottom) and lies a short distance from the Village of Morar on the B8008. There is a rail station at Morar, serviced by the West Highland Railway network. Loch Morar is a fresh water loch located at the top of the picture and lies between North Morar and South Morar. The loch empties via the River Morar into the sea in the middle left of the frame. Recently, there have been unexplained sea creature sightings along the loch. Viewed looking east from above the Sound of Sleat.
