A00683D Roseneath Peninsula and the Gare Loch

A sea loch north of Glasgow that connects to the Firth of Clyde. The naval base of "Faslane" lies at the top right of the picture. To the left of the picture is Rosneath Peninsula and the village of Rosneath on the shores of the Gare Loch. The narrowing of the channel is know as the "Spit". Viewed looking northwest towards the settlement of Garelochhead (top).
