Located on the west coast of Scotland Loch Sween is a sea loch with narrow inlets on each side of the loch. It connects to the Sound of Jura at the top of the picture and lies south of the Crinan Canal (bottom). The road departing the canal splits to the west (right) and east (left) of Loch Sween leading to the small settlements of Tayvallich and Achnamara respectively. Viewed looking southwest.
