2021 Demolition of Longannet coal fired power station

Situated on the north banks of the river Forth this fossil fuel burning
power station started supplying electricity to the nation grid system
in 1970. This monster station back then burned up to 4.5 million tons of
coal per year. The station became unviable due to environmental pressures
and closed in 2016.
