This photograph was taken just south of St Andrews on the east coast of Scotland. It captures St Andrews Bay and west sands, middle right, the links golf courses up to the River Eden in the middle left of the picture. Above the Eden is Tentsmuir Forest and sandy beach which runs north to the Tay estuary near the top of the picture.
