A00097A Lochs, Hope and Eriboll

aerial pictures of Scotland north coast sea lochs of Loch Eriboll
This coastline is located in the far north of mainland Scotland and lies about 30 miles west of the Pentland Firth between Loch Eriboll on the right of the picture and on the left Loch Hope. Loch Eriboll is a sea loch and Loch Hope is a fresh water loch famous for its sea trout fishing. Evidence of early settlers are scattered around the landscape including a recently confirmed crannog site on Loch Hope. Although the area may be remote and seem sparsely inhabited it is truly a beautiful landscape that caters for many a different type of tourist.
