A00279A Starney Bay to St Abbs Head

aerial pictures of Scotland east coast coastline at St Abbs
Location, Starney Bay on the east coast of Scotland. It is a pebbly beach that lies on the door step of St Abbs village and one mile south of St Abbs Head which is in the top far left of the picture. A coastal path descends from the west onto the beach which has rocky outcrops that forms part of its seascape view. To the north rugged and precipitous cliffs rise from the North Sea to make a perfect location for nesting colonies of sea birds. The land side is a habitat for many wildlife species and as such is a protected conservation site. Viewed looking north from above St Abbs coastal village.
