A00689J Tanglehall to Auchmithie coastal village

This aerial photograph was taken about 2 miles north of Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland. The location is just south of Tanglehall Cottages which are in the middle of the picture and lie west of Castlesea Bay whose cliffs and caves can be seen just to the right of the cottages. The area is extremely fertile and therefore intensively farmed as can be seen in the landscape of the picture. The Village of Auchmithie sits just above the Tanglehall Cottages with the coastline projecting north to Lunan Bay in the top left of the picture. Viewed looking north.
