Scarba is a small island which lies less than one mile north of the Island of Jura off the west coast of Scotland. It belongs to the Inner Hebrides group of islands. This lump of rock has a rugged terrain with boggy patches and heather. Red deer manage to survive on the landscape and roam freely. Viewed looking east to the Island of Luing and the mainland of Scotland (top).
