aerial pictures of Scotland west coast on the the Clyde
Kempock Point lies between Gourock Bay (bottom) and West Bay on the Firth of Clyde. The Pierhead is the terminus for trains from the City of Glasgow. During the 1800's and mid 1900's seaside tourism was fashionable and droves of holiday makers departed from the pier in steamers to resorts on the Firth of Clyde. Viewed looking north towards the Holy Loch (top centre).
