A00633EX2 Crinan Canal to the Island of Mull

The Crinan canal cuts out a long journey south round the Kintyre peninsula. It connects the Firth and River Clyde to the Inner Hebrides on the west coast of Scotland. The canal is 9 miles long starting at Loch Gilp (Fyne) and finishes at Loch Crinan in the middle of the picture. Viewed looking northwest from above the River Add across Loch Crinan to the Inner Hebridean Islands of Jura, Scarba, Luing and Mull, all located at the top of the picture.
