The Island of Iona lies to the west of the much larger Island of Mull off the west coast of Scotland. It was from here that St Columba spread Christianity into Scotland at that time inhabited by the pagan "Picts". The settlement of Baile Mor sits left and the islands Abbey right in the picture. Viewed from above the "Sound of Iona" looking west into the Atlantic Ocean.
