A00200B Gardenstown on Gamrie Bay

Location, west of Fraserburgh along the north east coastline of Scotland. Gamrie Bay is overlooked by the pretty coastal villages of Gardenstown and the shoreline village of Crovie. This dramatic shoreline combines geological formations in the shape of almost vertical sea cliffs and numerous rocky outcrops. Along the cliffs above Crovie at the top of the picture is Troup Head which is home to the only mainland nesting Gannet colony in Scotland. Viewed from above Castle Hill looking east to Troup Head.
