Belhaven Bay lies on the west side to the town of Dunbar on the east coast of Scotland. The Bay and the beach extending up the left hand side of the picture are part of the John Muir Country Park. The Park was named after the famous Scottish naturalist and geologist John Muir who was born locally in Dunbar and as a child emigrated to the US with his family. His adult ideas helped in the understanding and pursuit in the preservation of the wilderness. Viewed looking north to the Bass Rock just visible in the top of the picture.
