A00280D West Hurker at St Abbs Head

Just north of St Abbs Head on the east coast of Scotland lies the rocky outcrop of West Hurker. A small inshore fishing boat approaches this fragment of volcanic rock among the steep sea cliffs forming St Abbs Head coastline. The sea cliffs are perfect for nesting seabirds and with the surrounding lands they form a National Nature Reserve where many wildlife species, plants and insects can be found. Beneath West Hurker lies a seascape of marine life within deep gullies and sea cracks. Full of colours its a divers paradise.
