A00600A Tremuda Bay to Stonehaven

This view was taken from above Tremuda Bay on the east coast of Scotland. It is one of many sea cliff bays that can be found up and down the coastline between the settlements of Stonehaven and Arbroath. Stonehaven is about 2.5 miles north of the bay and is in the top left of the picture. Half way up the coast stands Dunnottar Castle, a fortress built on a rocky headland dating back to the medieval times.
