Trelong Bay lies 4 miles south of Stonehaven and less than one mile northeast of the small coastal settlement of Catterline on the east coast of Scotland. A short walk from Catterline brings you to a craggy bay with trapped pools of sea water and outcrops of rocky formations along a gravel and pebbly beach.
