A00679G Tay estuary and Dundee from Tentsmuir Point

Location, the far north easterly point of Fife at Tentsmuir Point on the east coast of Scotland. Tentsmuir Point can be accessed by a coastal path from Tayport (top left) or through Tentsmuir forest. Tentsmuir area is an important conservation site for wading birds and is a National Nature Reserve. The area is also important in the study of natural interactions that shape the shoreline and sandbar. Common seals and grey seals regularly use the exposed tidal sandbanks.
