A00721A Gleann Lirein by Mainnir nam Fiadh hill on the Island of Mull - West and south coastlines
This is the southern interior landscape of the "Island of Mull". Mull is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Its mountains were ground down by the movements of the last ice age and its geology is unique in the way of its rock formations and deposits. The highest point on Mull is Ben More (top)(Gaelic "Great Mountain") located in the south of the island and is the remnants of an extinct volcano. Viewed looking west from above the running waters of Gleann Lirein to Ben More at the top of the frame.
